Missed Class Policy
- In the instance of missed classes or tutoring sessions, refunds are not offered – see refund policy on terms page.
- Teachers may use their discretion to reschedule or offer makeup classes. See below for current rescheduling policies.
Rescheduling Makeup Classes Policy:
1. Rescheduling is permitted, if 48 hours notice is provided prior to scheduled lesson.
2. Rescheduling is permitted without 48 hours notice if there are technical difficulties or extenuating circumstances.
- Technical difficulty includes: proof of attempted access to class at scheduled class time. For example, a student logins on and there is no sound, no video, or clarity of screen is not sufficient for learning.
- Traveling and not being able to logon because there is no wifi service is not defined as a technical difficulty that would permit rescheduling without prior notice, teachers will have already created a lesson and waited on the student to show up to class.
Technical Difficulties Are Only Considered Once logon Occurs:
- Technical difficulties on part of the teacher that are unable to be solved within 10 minutes would permit a rescheduling of missed class time.
- Technical difficulties on part of the learner and their parent/guardian that is unable to be solved within 10 minutes would permit rescheduling of missed class time.
Extenuating Circumstances:
Unusual circumstances and emergencies happen. Please communicate at your earliest convenience.
